Buttercream on Dark Clay Mug — 10 oz

A wheel-thrown mug in dark chocolate stoneware, dipped in a soft buttercream glaze that pools thick at the rim and breaks into pale crystals where it runs. The glaze stops in an uneven scallop across the belly, leaving the dark clay bare underneath — the contrast is the whole point of this one.

A thin line of blue collects around the rim where the glaze thins out.

Roughly 3.75 inches tall, holds about 10 oz.
