Gold Skull Drip Mug — Misfit

A low, wide wheel-thrown mug in dark speckled stoneware, with a coral and orange glaze running down the outside in long drips over the throwing rings. Inside, a bright red glaze — and a gold skull sitting at the bottom of the cup, waiting for you to finish your drink.

Roughly 3 inches tall, holds about 10 oz.

Why this one is a Misfit

Two reasons, both honest:

The handle cracked during the first firing. The crack is visible on the handle. It's stable and it isn't going to come away — but it's there, and you'd see it every time you picked it up.

I also don't love how the glaze rolled down the outside. That part is just my opinion, and plenty of people will like it.
