Best is Yet to Come — Linocut

A cracked pocket watch held up by a tangle of octopus arms, roman numerals splitting apart, the whole thing pushing up through carved white water. Time coming undone, and something patient underneath it.

Linocut. Cut by hand into a linoleum block, inked with a brayer, and pulled one sheet at a time. Every print in the run sits a little differently — slightly more ink here, a touch less pressure there — which is the part machine printing can't fake.
